EzCert: Digital Signature
Product Overview
Transaction security with non-repudiation begins by ensuring transactions are digitally signed by the user and verified before being accepted by the processing applications. EzCert provides Digital Certificate Management and web plugins that work with any standard Hardware or Software PKCS#11 compliant tokens to Digitally sign any data. The transaction data desired and initiated by the user is digitally signed by the web plugin using a Digital Certificate that may be accessed from a PKCS#11 compliant token. The transaction data is accepted by the processing application only if its Digital Signature is successfully verified.
EZMCOM offers enterprises the flexibility of using Certificate Management capabilities of EzCert to provision self-signed certificates for use in any PKI, Digital ID capable application viz. Mail clients, VPN solutions etc. EzCert also allows integration with your national certificate authority for issuance and life cycle management of commercial digital certificates endorsed under your country's digital signature act. To implement PKI-Based Digital signing on web based applications, enterprises can chose to implment the conventional approach of digitally signing transaction data with a PKI USB key device issued to its users or leverage on (existing) EzSign tokens for a user friendly, end-user transparent, roaming PKI approach for digital signing. USB key Hardware Tokens from our partners ActivIdentity, SafeNet, SecureMetric, Vasco and all other PKCS#11 compliant software and hardware tokens are supported. The java web-plugin component of EzCert also allows a software-only approach by using a Digital Certificate (PFX) provided by the user as an input for digitally signing transaction data.
Roaming PKI: Zero Installation
By leveraging on (an existing) EzSign: One-Time Password Signature, enterprises can implement end-user transparent Digital Signing of transactions from institutional customers yet retaining the simple, non-intrusive, installation free deployment with fully roaming user experience.
